Catskill Mountain Jubilee Schedule Goes Deep

Catskill Mountain Jubilee Schedule Goes Deep

Thursday, August 11, marks the kickoff of Catskill Mountain Jubilee at Blackthorne Resort in East Durham NY. By the time the smoke clears late Sunday night, 32 bands will have paraded across the three festival stages: Terrapin Stage, Hanger Stage, and Rock Room & Ripple Pool. It’s still not too late to get on the incredible action. Check out the schedule!

Only one stage to contend with, music starting at 4:30. At the center of it all are The New Deal and Chali 2na & Cut Chemist, with Garcia Project opening and Julia Govor and Mara late night.

Now you have three stages to contend with. Try to hear as much new music as you can. Dark Star Orchestra hits the Terrapin stage for two sets, and Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe precedes them. Also huge in the mix: Dogs in a Pile, DJ Logic & Friends, and Aqueous featuring Craig Brodhead. There is plenty more from Mark Farina, Muscle Tough, Mike Greenfield, Beg Steal or Borrow, Freegrass Union, Yesmann, and Smink.

DSO is back for two more sets, and the amazing Star Kitchen also hits the main stage. This day is loaded, too, with Sophistafunk, more Mark Farina, Orchard Lounge, DrFameus & Glyfiks, Liondub, Sundub, Baked Shrimp, Kandyshop, and Nahmean?

The Rock Room features three sets of Orchard Lounge, while Ichisan has the closing set, and the rest of the action is on the Terrapin. The Disco Biscuits do it twice, with Spaga and Kick the Cat featuring Kris Myers for the final day. Rose Ganache featuring Mike Greenfield has the opening set.
