Clearwater Jazz Holiday Announces Huge Lineup for October

Back for number 43! Clearwater Jazz Holiday announces a loaded lineup of music October 14-16, again this year at BayCare Ballpark, home of the Clearwater Threshers and the spring training home of the Philadelphia Phillies. The familiar previous location of Coachman Park is undergoing construction of a 4,000-seat amphitheater on that location, which should be ready for 2023 and beyond for CJH and for lots of other events as well.

The wide-ranging schedule will include Charlie Wilson, best known for his work as lead singer for The GAP Band, and New Orleans’ favorite son Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue.

Gov’t Mule and Old Crow Medicine Show will be touring together and will grace the CJH stage.

Also on tap are the powerhouse band St. Paul & the Broken Bones and skyrocketing The War and Treaty.

It will be time to “put it in the dumpster” with more of New Orelans’ favorite sons, Dumpstaphunk. And how about a heaping helping of Average White Band?

Two more great adds for CJH: Justin-Lee Schultz and The Champ Jaxon Band. Schultz is a 15-year-old phenom from South Africa who plays guitar and keyboards, and Champ Jaxon, at 11, will knock your socks off (figuratively, anyway) with his rockin’ blues.

There’s a lot more to come, but that’s a fine start for CJH!
