0

CryptoWeiner, an Ethereum-based NFT collection, has announced the dates and details of its upcoming physical and virtual exhibition. The event, dubbed Pixels by CryptoWeiner, will be held on August 25, 2022, and will see Professor Alfred Taudes, the Head of the Institute for Cryptoeconomics at the University of Vienna, in attendance. A party will also be held later in the day with DJs Phentix and Plattenjoe performing.

The Incoming Event

All these in-person events will be held at OK Linz in Austria and a separate digital event will be held as well. As per the official website, visitors can scan a QR code which will give them access to a metaverse experience.

This experience will be of mirrored rooms that will exist in the physical locations but that is being broadcast in real-time to the internet.

All of this, in turn, is projected onto the walls as a live stream from Cryptovoxels – with the exciting effect that visitors can move and see themselves simultaneously in the analog and digital worlds,” the announcement says of the multi-dimensional experience.

The two events will centre around selected pieces from the Viennese originals collection which were created by the six artists within the CryptoWeiner collective. The works from the collection were digitally hand drawn by members of the collective and are now physically displayed in museums around the world.

With this new event, CryptoWeiner is looking to push blockchain and web3 education while also connecting with fans.
