DO. NOT. MISS. The Motet at Telluride Jazz Festival!
The Motet roll into Telluride this weekend for two shows you DO NOT want to miss! This is the Boulder quintet’s debut at Telluride Jazz Festival, and they’re bringing along three fabulous guests to up the ante. Joining them will be Jennifer Hartswick (Trey Anastasio Band), vocals and trumpet; Shira Elias (Cool Cool Cool, formerly with Turkuaz), vocals; and Jason Hann (The String Cheese Incident), percussion. It was pure magic last year at North Beach Music Festival when Hartswick, Elias, and Hann joined The Motet!
The Motet headline Saturday at Telluride Town Park, and Sunday they close out the festival at Sheridan Opera House for The Last Waltz!
The Motet are: Dave Watts, drums; Joey Porter, keyboards, synths; Garrett Sayers, bass; Ryan Jalbert, guitar; and Drew Sayers, alto saxophone, keyboards.
