Here are the latest additions to Standon Calling festival 2019

Friendly Fires have been announced for a Special Guests slot at Standon Calling festival.

The performance will be the first time the band have played in over 10 years and is a homecoming of sorts, given that the band members grew up down the road from the Hertfordshire location, in St Albans.

Also joining the lineup for the summer festival are pop artist Roisin Murphy, R&B singer Mahalia, folk rock band Kawala, and singer-songwriter Emma McGrath.

They are the latest additions to a festival that already includes headliners Nile Rodgers and Chic, Wolf Alice and Rag’n’Bone Man, plus Echo and the Bunnymen, IDLES, Lews Capaldi, Band of Skulls, The joy Formidable, Flamingods, Honeylung and Sea Girls.

Standon Calling takes place between 25 – 28 July. Tickets are on sale now.
