They went West. Now they’re coming East. It’s time for the East Koast edition of Karnival of the Arts, heading for the Kempton Fairgrounds in Kempton PA September 1-5 with a great lineup of music and much more in store for you.

This Labor Day weekend, Kollective Grounds brings to you one of Pennsylvania’s only ARTS – FIRST Music Festivals: the KARNIVAL OF THE ARTS. The Founders of the event are a diverse group of individuals, music festival contributors, and true fans of music who are dedicated to enhancing the community and human condition through the inclusion and appreciation of all types of art.

This third Karnival of the Arts: East Koast will be headlined by the Marcus Rezak & Ike Willis Zappa Experience and by Marcus Rezak’s Shred is Dead, both featuring Adrian Tramontano, Chris DeAngelis, and Scott Hannay.

Also at the top of the bill are Muscle Tough & Friends featuring DJ Logic and The Horn Section and Freekbass & The Bump Assembly featuring Sammi Garett. The Horn section boys — Josh Schwartz, baritone saxophone, vocals; Greg Sanderson, tenor saxophone; and Chris Brouwers, trumpet, keyboards — and Garett were formerly with Turquaz and are now with Cool Cool Cool.

Lots more to see and hear, with John Ferrara, Yam Yam, Out Of The Beardspace, Balkun Brothers, Medusa’s Disco, Apollo Suns, and Squeaky Feet. Add to the list Solar Circuit, Mighty Good Times, Joe Keyes & the Late Bloomer Band, Habatat, Mums the Word, Nester, Electric Moose Knuckle, SWAAMP, RalphReal & The Family Jam, Natalie Brooke & The Infinity Tribe, Knorrwood, Funk Norris Loop Set, and The Karnival All Stars, and you’ve got one hell of a party!
