Official sponsor of one of the leading classic sports car events on the prestigious Monaco circuit, the brand introduced a series bearing its emblematic colors.

On the occasion of the Monaco Historic Grand Prix, TAG Heuer traditionally unveils a Monaco bearing the colors of the well-known oil company involved in the world of motor racing. This year, the Monaco Gulf Special Edition’s luminous blue dial with its brushed sunburst finish is accented with a sparing use of turquoise and orange. They can be found on two thin parallel stripes off-center and alternating on the counter positioned at 3 o’clock. This aesthetic composition is displayed in the iconic 39mm square steel case with a proven water resistance to a depth of 100 meters. To emphasize the spirit of competition that drives this timepiece, at 12 o’clock, a 60 inlay provides an additional touch of originality.

All the hands, those of the hours, the minutes, the discreet small second, and those colored to measure time intervals, as well as the date positioned at 6 o’clock, are orchestrated by the modern Heuer 02 caliber. This high-performance self-winding movement offers 80 hours of power reserve. The sapphire case back is designed to allow the viewer to see some of the 168 components in action. The orange-tinted column wheel of the chronograph, its balance wheel, and its stylized oscillating weight are also revealed. Reinforcing its vintage sporty personality, the Monaco Gulf Special Edition is worn on a perforated blue calf leather wristband with orange lining, finished with a folding clasp.
