THE ART AND THE MANNER

With this new model, expanding the Complication collection, the manufacturer delivers practical everyday functions in a beautiful, attractive design.

Taking its aesthetic cues from the Calatrava 5226G showcased during Watches & Wonders Geneva 2022, Patek Philippe’s Quantième Annuel Travel Time 5326-G001 combines a 41mm-diameter white gold case adorned with “Clou de Paris” guillochage with a gradient anthracite dial endowed with a textured surface. Similarly, the hour circle with Arabic numerals coated with beige Super-LumiNova® enhances its vintage style. In terms of information, the manufacturer brings together for the first time two useful complications: a second time zone and an annual calendar.

Hence, the days and months appear in their respective aperture at 12 o’clock. At 6 o’clock, a small second hand displays the moon phases in a window. The date can be read below this window. Two indications on the dial, “local” and “home”, provide information about the day and night. To indicate the hours of the two different time zones, a pair of hands, one solid, the other openworked, enables the wearer to maintain their temporal reference points when traveling. This refined composition also enhances legibility. All this data is precisely orchestrated by the caliber 31-260 PS QU LU FUS 24H put together by means of 409 different parts. This winding movement fitted with an off-center platinum mini-rotor visible through the sapphire caseback provides between 38 and 48 hours of power reserve. For all occasions, the Quantième Annuel Travel Time can be worn with a chic nubuck calf leather wristband or its elegant black counterpart.
