Rovio appoints Andy Muesse as its new head of studios

Angry Birds maker Rovio has named Andy Muesse as its new head of studios.

Muesse has been at the company since 2020 and initially joined as head of Rovio’s 80-person Stockholm studio — best known for developing Angry Birds 2.

In his new role, Muesse will oversee all of Rovio’s studios across Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and Canada.

Rovio CEO Alexandre Pelletier-Normand said Muesee’s “deep understanding of product, knowledge of the market and strategic thinking will help our studios thrive as well as drive our business to a new level.”

Prior to joining Rovio, Muesse served as head of mobile product at Wargaming and vice president of product at Gree.
