Suwannee Hulaween’s 2022 Lineup Knocks It Out of the Park
Perhaps no one in the music festival business colors outside the lines better that the folks behind Suwannee Hulaween. Since its founding in 2013, the Halloween-themed festival has delivered an unparalleled experience with a blend of cross-genre pollination, thrilling production values, and sumptuous art installations all set on the mystical grounds of The Spirit of Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida. Scheduled to take place from October 27-30, the event tops itself with a groundbreaking lineup of headliners, festival stalwarts, cutting-edge artists, and up-and-comers from the worlds of electronic, jam, indie, bluegrass, funk, soul, Americana, and hip hop.
Topping the expansive bill as always is host band The String Cheese Incident, who will be playing all three nights of the fest. They’ll be joined by six-time Grammy nominees Black Pumas; alt-rock indie band Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Atlanta rapper J.I.D., veteran Hula headliners Portugal. The Man, psychedelic outfit STS9, electric pop duo Sylvan Esso, venerated jam band The Disco Biscuits, Vulfpeck off-shoot Fearless Flyers and more. Fan favorites Cory Wong, Franc Moody, Lawrence, Leftover Salmon, Lettuce, Lewis Del Mar, Manic Focus, Margo Price, Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, Neil Frances, Twiddle and others will be on hand for memorable live performances.
Hulaween draws from a deep bench of electronic stars and innovators with appearances by festival veterans such as French trailblazer CloZee, Chicago duo Louis The Child, and Grammy-nominated producer Fisher along with debut performances by UK act Gorgon City and Bite This label-head Jauz in a special “Off The Deep End” house set. Fan favorites and Hula vets Big Gigantic and NGHTMRE will also perform their collaborative project Gigantic NGHTMRE for the first time at the festival. These are among the many tastemakers who will be setting the grounds of SOSMP ablaze with electronic dance music.
Further down the roster, Hulaween welcomes a host of familiar acts from the festival scene including Circles Around The Sun, Margo Price, Butcher Brown featuring Nigel Hall, Lettuce, Karina Rykman, Kyle Hollingsworth Band, Maddy O’Neal, The Main Squeeze, Toubab Krewe and many more. And this is just the start with more names to be added in the near future.

For those in the know, one of the biggest stars of the event is SOSMP itself. The park consists of 800 glorious of lush fields, moss-covered oaks, the Suwannee River and the magical Spirit Lake where fans can boogie down and immerse themselves in interactive art installations, visual and performance art, and hypnotic laser shows.
