VISUAL METAMORPHOSIS

The manufacturer proves that the presence of a single color can change the personality of a classic watch without altering its very substance.

Within the Tradition collection introduced in 2005, each of the references making up the collection highlights the excellence of the mechanism and the delicate finishing work carried out by Breguet watchmakers in accordance with the rules of the art. The new version of the Tradition Quantième Rétrograde 7597 Monochrome Royal retains this masterful aesthetic while enhancing it with the appropriate use of blue. By embellishing the off-center hours and minutes dial with a “Clous de Paris” motif as well as the 180° arc-shaped graduated scale of the date with this color, the timepiece gains in modernity, anchoring itself in the current colorful trend.

On the anthracite-coated bridges and plate, the cogs of the self-winding 505Q caliber, with 50 hours of power reserve, move into action. In a symmetrical display, the cylinder is joined by the center wheel at 8 o’clock and the oscillating mechanism at 4 o’clock. This movement, fitted with a balance wheel at a frequency of 3Hz, also incorporates an inverted line lever escapement and a silicon Breguet curve balance spring. The whole assembly is integrated into a white gold case with a diameter of 40mm and a sapphire case back. This translucent presence affords another vantage point for viewing the mechanical architecture, developed using 269 components, in particular the stunning stylized rotor. To complement its natural elegance, the Tradition Quantième Rétrograde 7597 is worn on a midnight blue alligator leather wristband. A perfect match.
