Widespread Panic and Cloud 9 Adventures Reveal Lineup for Panic en la Playa 2023
Widespread Panic returns to the sparkling shores of The Riviera Maya, Mexico, this winter for the eleventh incarnation of their beloved destination event, Panic en la Playa with a cadre of music all-stars in tow. Set to take place January 14-18 at Hard Rock Riviera Maya, the gathering will include The Greyboy Allstars, George Porter Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners, Grateful Shred, Doom Flamingo, and more.
Produced by premiere destination event company Cloud 9 Adventures, the festival will also showcase the Playa Allstars, a super group tailor-made for the four-day celebration featuring Eric Krasno, Ivan Neville, George Porter Jr., Jennifer Hartswick, Chali 2na, Cochemea Gastelum, and Raymond Weber. Widespread Panic will play all four nights for a devoted fan base who will also be treated to afternoon and late night shows from the event’s lineup of stars.
In addition to music, attendees can also enjoy one-of-a-kind experiences including morning yoga, artist-hosted workshops, and creative theme nights with more fun to be announced. Guests can also expect first-rate production, unmatched acoustics, a spacious dance floor, specialty-curated food, tequila bars, and wait service throughout the crowd.
The all-inclusive experience returns to the luxurious Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, located between Playa del Carmen and Tulum. Guests can choose from a wide array of room categories including premium suites that overlook the main stage, newly constructed swim-ups, freshly decked out sky terraces for private sunbathing, and the ultimate in late night get-togethers.
Once again, charitable non-profit Positive Legacy will be on hand to satisfy fans’ urges to give back to the local community. Attendees can participate in Positive Legacy’s humanitarian and environmental efforts providing emergency hunger relief, medical and school supplies, building playgrounds and community gardens, performing extensive beach cleanups, and improving infrastructure at the largest turtle sanctuary in the Yucatan.
