Woolrich RTW Spring 2023

0

Woolrich’s heritage, rooted in the outdoors-y American lifestyle, provides themes as large and wide as the country itself.

The spring coed collection anchored the offering to a trip across natural landmarks, the Appalachian Mountains of Pennsylvania, the Pacific Crest Trail edging Oregon and Washington, and the Zavikon Island where Woolrich installed a lodge in the 1950s for its employee.

During the trip, guys wear madras puffer vests and flannel overshirts done in organic cotton or bearing prints of the mountain laurel, while delicate Amish quilt fabrics paired with cropped bubblegum pink sweats and cargo pants tapped into girls’ Y2K nostalgia.

The cottage on Zavikon island inspired field and bomber jackets worn with sweatpants that read chic fisherman, while a toile du jouy patterned short and windbreaker set was fun. For girls lunching lakeside, there were breezy poplin dresses bearing Ikat and paisley motifs.

In keeping with its sustainable commitment, Woolrich not only expanded its use of responsible materials and processes, such as eco-Taslan, organic cotton and natural dyes, but also linked with the Pacific Crest Trail namesake organization via the Woolrich Outdoor Foundation.
