Getting your hands on trying some of the distillery’s most coveted liquid is a rare feat in itself, but how about getting the chance to select a barrel of one of the world’s best bourbons yourself? It may sound like an impossible dream, but the distillery’s parent company Sazerac is giving you the rare opportunity to do just that.

The Blanton’s Gold Sweepstakes

Sazerac Barrel Select, the brand’s single barrel release program, is running a sweepstakes where the winner will have the opportunity to select and purchase a barrel of Blanton’s Gold, a tasty hyped bourbon that currently trades for more than double its $120 SRP.

In addition to the once-in-a-lifetime barrel-selecting experience, the winner of the sweepstakes will also receive a VIP tour of the Buffalo Trace Distillery, a $20,000 prize which can be used toward purchasing bottles from their selected barrel (the full barrel is valued at $20K, but you don’t need to buy the entire thing), and the empty barrel to keep as a killer memento. And the best part? It’s all for a good cause, as the sweepstakes is being done for the benefit of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

How to Enter to Win

If you’re smacking your lips at the idea of tasting and selecting your own barrel of Blanton’s Gold, here’s how to throw your hat into the ring. First, you’ve got to be at least 21 years old. Next, you need to be a resident of any of the 50 states or Washington, D.C. except New York (sorry, New Yorkers). Third, go to the official entry form here and fill out your information. You’ll then be directed to donate to St. Jude’s, where each $100 you donate will earn you one entry to win. So, for example, if you donate $300, that’s three chances your name will be drawn.

The sweepstakes kicked off on February 12 and runs through February 29, 2024 at 11:59pm ET. The winner’s name will then be drawn randomly and notified of their victory on March 4.
