Happy Pi Day, everyone. To celebrate, we’re including one Pi Day-related product for you — and it just might inspire you to whip up your favorite tasty pie.
Today we’re taking a look at a speciality apron, a cool vase and a fun snack box. This is Today in Gear.
Happy Pi Day!
Fun and fresh: In case you forgot, it’s Pi Day. Hedley and Bennett launched its mega-popular Essential Apron ($85) with a pie-inspired design. The apron was designed and tested by chefs and blends function, like stain resistance and lots of pockets, with style. The Pi Day apron adds a little extra flare with embroidered pie details: a key lime pie, cherry pie and apple pie.
A New Collection From LSA International
New and noteworthy: LSA International, the London-based design studio just dropped a few new eye-catching collections that will add a little visual interest to your drab Zoom background. The SCULPT collection offers up a suite of angled, geometric vases that give off contemporary vibes and come in trendy colors like ‘cognac.’ We love the edgy Vase/Lantern H9in ($170) and think it’s perfect for seasonal flowers or greenery to add a cool factor to your work-from-home life.
A Trunk-Style Suitcase
For the jetsetters: Carl Friedrik just launched a vintage-style rolling Trunk suitcase ($745). The 90-liter capacity means there’s room for everything you need, from a few extra outfits to those more bulky items. It also comes with three mesh packing cubes to make organizing a breeze. The all-black polycarbonate looks sleek and offers a timeless look and durability.
A New Bokksu Snack Box
Tastebuds activated: The limited-edition Sakura-inspired snack box ($65) is filled with cherry blossom-inspired snacks. All of the snacks are sourced directly from family-run businesses in Japan and the box comes with an assortment of treats (like mochi and cookies), tea pairings and a gift guide so you can learn more about each item.
Finisterre x DARN
Wardrobe refresh: A new collaboration between Finisterre and Darn, an artist collective based in England, is here. The collection is inspired by folklore and creative heritage and includes standout items like the Embroidered Sweater ($235), a navy blue sweater with fun embroidered details like the sun and the moon. The multi-colored Quilted Jacket ($260) is a workwear jacket that features unique paint stroke artwork and big pockets that are perfect for brushes and tools (or wearing out to dinner with friends).
